TS-2000 display bulbs off...

My TS-2000s display went off last night without any warning... I'm looking for the famous "bulbs to LED" modification to give a new cool blue color to my radio display....

SV5TEN beacon shows the way....

It works with a President Lnincoln all-mode CB radio and a short CB antenna no more than 50cm.

You can see it daily on DX Cluster to show the "path" of new Sun cycle.

A big THANK YOU for your reports.

At the same location works also the follow beacons:

SV5SIX  50.016
SV5FOUR   70.016
and SV5VHF    144.850

Thanks in advance for your reports.

160m New antenna tests this weekend.....

This weekend I will be QRV from my 2nd QTH on 160m using the modified 9 band Fritzel FD-4 Windom antenna.
Thanks to a small hill beside the house I get the right height and distance to erect the aerial.

SWR shows to be OK (slightly off on 80 and 160) and will be interesting to explore the behavior of the new antenna at this install.

I try once some years before and I install this antenna into urban area with poor results.
Hope the countryside to help this antenna to give me more DXCC countries for my 160m band collection.....

See you on air....
